Ocean Jasper® is admired for its vibrant colors, intricate orbicular patterns, and occasional sparkling druzy-lined pockets that make every piece one of a kind. Carefully polished into a smooth tumble stone, each specimen highlights the remarkable beauty created through millions of years of natural geological processes. Its comfortable size makes it perfect for carrying in a pocket, displaying in a collection, or incorporating into meditation and mindfulness practices.
In traditional crystal practices, Ocean Jasper is associated with grounding, calming, emotional balance, and soothing energy. Many people enjoy working with this stone during meditation, relaxation, journaling, or intention-setting practices. These metaphysical properties are shared as part of longstanding crystal traditions.
Ocean Jasper® is a registered trademark for a distinctive orbicular variety of chalcedony, a microcrystalline form of quartz composed primarily of silicon dioxide (SiO₂). It is characterized by its circular "orb" patterns, colorful banding, and occasional druzy-lined cavities that formed as silica-rich mineral solutions crystallized over millions of years. This remarkable material is found exclusively along the remote northwest coast of Madagascar, where individual mining areas are commonly identified by collectors as separate "veins." This specimen originates from the highly sought-after Vein 7 locality.
About the Tumble
Each tumble stone has been carefully polished to create a smooth, comfortable finish while preserving the stone's natural colors, orbicular patterns, and unique mineral features. No two pieces are exactly alike, making every tumble a one-of-a-kind geological specimen.

Photo & Product Note
Photos represent the quality and overall appearance of the Ocean Jasper® you will receive. Because each natural stone is unique, expect variations in color, orb patterns, translucency, druzy pockets, and natural inclusions. We do not edit our photos, though colors may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings.
Care
Ocean Jasper has a Mohs hardness of approximately 6.5–7, making it suitable for everyday handling and display. Clean gently with warm water and a soft cloth, avoiding harsh chemicals that may dull its polished finish.
Special Feature
Ocean Jasper® is especially prized for its naturally occurring orbicular patterns—concentric mineral formations created during crystal growth. Many specimens also contain sparkling druzy-lined cavities, adding texture and brilliance that make each piece entirely unique.
