They magic of crystals and metaphysical shops has intrigued me since I was a small child. The smell of incense, the energy of the shops welcoming you in with a warm friendly hug. In my day-to-day life, I never felt like I quite fit in anywhere, but in those shops I felt at home.  I wished one day I could own a shop of my own, but that thought was often brushed off by my limiting beliefs about my abilities to own a shop. I proceeded on with my life getting my bachelor’s in psychology and eventually headed off to graduate school to get my master’s degree in counseling.

I had a goal of helping people as a counselor, which when you think about it makes a lot of sense given my interest in metaphysical and spiritual practices.

In 2014 I suddenly felt called to dip my toes into the world of small business by starting a small business on Etsy and “Bella Chakra” was born. Bella Chakra was a custom crystal bracelet business and I dabbled in this business as a side hustle until 2020.

All at once like the rest of the world my life was turned upside down. The security of my tenured faculty position had been jolted from me and suddenly the work I was doing was not filling my cup anymore. Suddenly in early May 2020 I woke up and it was as if the clouds had been cleared and I was suddenly thinking and seeing more clearly than I had in years as if a block had been removed from my mind I could finally see clearly.

Then the thought came to me “Why not” “Why not start an e-commerce store” I immediately dived into the research and transformed Bella Chakra into C3 Crystals. About a year after being in business as C3 Crystals we re-branded as Bella Luna a nod to our original name back in 2014 and I have never been happier.
