This beautiful Fluorite specimen showcases an unusual combination of yellow and purple crystal growth in a striking natural formation. The distinctive way these colors formed together creates a pattern that is rarely encountered, making this an especially memorable specimen for collectors. This particular material has become increasingly difficult to source, and I have not been able to find another specimen with this same unique growth pattern.
In traditional crystal practices, Fluorite is associated with calming, clarity, and activating intuition and inner knowing. It is commonly believed to encourage mental focus, support thoughtful decision-making, and promote emotional balance. Many people enjoy working with Fluorite as a reminder to quiet the mind and approach life with greater clarity. These metaphysical properties are shared as part of longstanding crystal traditions.
Fluorite is a calcium fluoride mineral with the chemical formula CaF₂. Its remarkable range of colors is created by natural trace elements, crystal lattice defects, and exposure to radiation during formation. This specimen displays an uncommon combination of yellow and purple Fluorite that developed as the crystals grew under changing geological conditions, resulting in its distinctive color zoning and unique crystal habit. China is well known for producing exceptional Fluorite specimens prized by mineral collectors around the world.

Care
Fluorite has a Mohs hardness of 4 and should be handled with care to avoid scratches or chips. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause some specimens to fade over time. Store separately from harder minerals and clean gently with a soft, dry cloth.
